Kids who are above their healthy body weight can learn about nutrition, goal setting and physical activity thanks to MEND. Also known as Mind, Exercise and Nutrition, Do it!, MEND is a fun, family-focused 10-week program that demonstrates new ways to be healthy and helps families support their kids in reaching a healthy weight.
Kids exercise at each session by taking part in noncompetitive, game-based physical activity that gradually increases in intensity
as their fitness levels improve. They’ll also gain energy and confidence while learning how healthy meals fuel a healthy, happy and productive life.
Those who qualify for this free program, which is offered three times a year and is open to the community, also receive a free 6-month household membership.
