At the Y, we believe we have something special — a sense of community — and that everyone should have access to it, along with the programs and services that help us learn, grow and thrive. Financial assistance is offered to individuals and families who cannot afford membership. Please contact us with any questions.

Get Started

1. Download the financial assistance application.
2. Complete the form, and include the required documentation listed on the application.
3. Return the application and the required documentation to your nearest YMCA of Central Texas location.
4. The deadline to apply is the 15th of each month, with financial assistance for membership being awarded at the beginning of the next month.

What Happens Next

Once your application is processed, the Y will mail you a letter to verify that your application has been approved. You also will receive an award contract.

Maintaining Your Financial Assistance Status

Financial assistance is awarded for a six-month period. You must use your membership at least six times each month. Your account must remain in good financial standing. Failure to meet these requirements will result in financial assistance being terminated.

Financial Assistance Is Temporary

Qualification for financial assistance is reviewed
every 6 months.

Financial Assistance for Programs

We also offer financial assistance for Afterschool Care, Day Camp, Youth Sports and other programs and services.
